Common Goal to feature across 180 adidas stores in 22 countries in Europe during the FIFA World Cup 2026 through Adyen Giving integration.

The FIFA World Cup generates attention at a scale few things on earth can match.

The question is how that attention can be turned into something bigger than the tournament itself.

This summer, Common Goal, adidas and Adyen are bringing football for good directly into that moment — inviting millions of fans to connect the excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026 with the other side of football, the one changing lives every day.

Starting June 8 and running throughout the tournament window, shoppers at 180 adidas stores across 22 European countries will be invited to donate to Common Goal directly at checkout, with every donation matched in full by Adyen.

A simple tap. Doubled in impact.

The Adyen Giving integration is the latest chapter in a longstanding relationship between Common Goal and adidas, rooted in the belief that football can be a force for good and in a shared ambition to support football-for-good communities globally.

Together with Adyen, the activation brings that commitment directly into stores during the FIFA World Cup 2026 window, turning everyday transactions into direct support for grassroots organisations around the world.

Adyen Giving allows charitable donations to be integrated directly into the payment flow, making giving simple, transparent and immediate at checkout.

Every cent donated goes directly to Common Goal, with no fees deducted. Throughout 2026, Adyen will also match 100% of all donations processed through the platform.

That means every contribution made at an adidas terminal during the World Cup window will generate double the support for football-for-good organisations worldwide.

The integration launches June 8 across adidas stores in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania.

For Common Goal, this is not simply a fundraising activation tied to a tournament moment. It is part of a much bigger effort around the FIFA World Cup 2026: helping ensure the tournament leaves behind something more meaningful than attention alone.

Because when football shows up beyond the game, its impact can travel a lot further.
