Through its commitment to the Common Goal 1% pledge in 2022, FOX Sports has dedicated at least one percent of its FIFA World Cup coverage to amplifying stories from across the football for good community. Across the tournaments in 2022, 2023 and again in 2026, this collaboration has helped bring new voices, perspectives and community-led solutions into mainstream football culture in the United States.

Create the Space
Create the Space is a mental and emotional wellbeing initiative led by Common Goal and E-Motion designed to help transform teams and organisations into communities of care. Supported by FOX Sports and Fox Corporation, the initiative equips grassroots leaders and practitioners with practical tools and systems to support mental health, resilience, and wellbeing for young people both on and off the pitch.
Soccer Forward Fests
Soccer Forward Fests are community-led celebrations designed to bring people together through the power of soccer and expand participation in the game across the United States, led by US Soccer Forward Foundation and Common Goal in the lead up to and during the FIFA World Cup 26™. As part of its legacy commitment, FOX Sports is supporting the initiative alongside U.S. Soccer and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, helping local communities host festivals, clinics, and events that create lasting impact beyond the tournament itself.
Quaker Player Escort programme
Through the FIFA World Cup 26™ Player Escort Program, Quaker and Common Goal are helping connect soccer’s biggest stage with the communities that power the game every day, creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for nearly 1,700 young people across the United States and Canada. FOX Sports is helping amplify the initiative across host cities, shining a light on the stories, communities, and organizations behind the program.
