Fox Sports and Common Goal team up

Collaboration spans FIFA World Cup tournaments in 2022, 2023 and 2026

FOX Sports, America’s English-language home for the FIFA World Cup™️ through 2026, is joining the Common Goal movement to help make soccer diverse, inclusive, and accessible for all.

Taking the 1% pledge, FOX Sports is targeting 1% of its World Cup coverage in 2022, 2023, and 2026 to share stories from the Common Goal movement in the United States cross-platform and help change the narrative about what soccer can be.

As part of FOX’s contribution to the movement they pledged 1% of their 2023 Women’s World Cup airtime to discussing the importance of mental health.

The action is part of a wider mental health initiative – co-founded by FOX Sports and in collaboration with the US Women's National Team that will bring together coaches from more than 15 sports-based youth development organizations working in under-resourced communities across the United States. The immersive training will teach positive coping strategies and provide personal support in communities who historically do not have access to mental health resources.
